In every relationship there is a danger that the relationship will be destroyed and come to an end. The danger can come from apathy, indifference and lack of concern. It helps to have a symbol to remind us of the importance of the relationship and what it means to us. We cannot let 'Political Correctness' destoy the symbols that represent the freedoms we have in this amazing country. Today is Veterans Day and a day that we think about the flag, our veterans and the relationship we have with our country. Let's not take that relationship for granted.....never forget.
In our neighborhoold in Cinco Ranch, Katy Texas, a local Boy Scout Troop puts out flags for holidays amd other special occassions that celebrate our country. This morning the first thing I saw outside my front door was the flag.
We have another flag that hangs from the front of the house. We put it up September 11, 2001. We replaced the flag many times as it has become fadded or become. I've made an oath that the flag will remain until Osama bin Laden is captured or killed.
